I'm your host, Rodney Walker, and
I'm so glad that you're here.

be the host with the most just for you today so
that you can get the most out of your life today
with hopefully something positive that will be set your
way today so that you can be a better you.
I'm excited that you're here today.
We've got some great information for you.
I'm going to give you that inspirational quote.
You know, that IQ booster, that Booyah.
Yes, that Booyah that's going to put some
pool in your woo woo, whatever that means.
I want you to make sure that you stay tuned
because on today I'm going to be sharing with you information
about how you can become a Grant consultant. Yeah.
You don't have to just do Grant writing. My friend,
you can actually be a consultant in this field.
I'm going to be sharing with you how to do that.
I'm also going to be sharing with you that
one thing that I share about myself every day.
I'm going to share one thing today that you don't know.
In fact, today I'm going to be
telling you about one of my Sheros. Yes.
I got a Shero
I'm going to tell you about her in just a few minutes.
And I'm excited about sharing more information about
my Shero because she's an awesome woman.
Oh, she's bad. Wow.
And in addition to that, I'm going to
be sharing with you some other resources that
you need to help you to succeed.
This show is about helping you to win.
Not just win, but helping you to win big.
This is the Get Funded with Rodney show.
Say it all.
If you're going to say it, don't say it at all.
All right.
I'm so happy that you're here today on Today's show.
As we're looking, I promise you that I'm going to share
with you that Shero that I have and I've got
an awesome Shero my she wrote a lady that I
greatly admire, somebody that just her life spoke to me at
a very deep and profound way that was none other than
a lady that some call H.T.
But I call her Harriet Tuckman. Yes. Ms.
HT was a bad woman. She was bad.
Let me tell you what she did.
Not only did she help to succeed in helping
people to go through what they call the Underground
Railroad, which was a way for slaves to be
able to get out of bondage.
She freed herself, went all the way to
Canada, and then said, you know what?
It's not enough for me to be free.
I got to go back and free some other people.
And she did that trip a number of times with
the help of many good people, with the Underground Railroad.
But she was such a Shero to me, just a woman that was so
powerful that she cared enough to go and give back.
And I never will forget, she gave people motivation.
Sometimes when people were on their way out of
the bondage that they were in, out of slavery,
going into a place of freedom, they got scared.
I was like, I'm going to turn back midway.
She had a little motivation that she would point
in their face and say, "No, we're going forward."
And guess what?
They went forward.
But I love her because she gave back in a profound way.
How are you giving back?
That's important for us to do.
We got to not just take we got to also give back.
And I want to encourage you today
to think about some meaningful ways.
Yes, some meaningful ways that you, too, can give back.
And when you do that, that's very powerful.
Makes me want to kind of get a dance
on around here, but I'm going to move on.
I want to encourage you today because I got some
information to help you to become a Grant professional.
But before I tell you how to
become this Grant professional, that Grant consultant.
I want to give you a quote for today.
Our IB Booth is coming to you that I said IB.
I mean, IQ.
You know what IB saying?
That IQ booster is coming from
none other than iGrantwriters.com. Remember,
if you're looking to hire a Grant writer or
get a Grant writing job or even get discovered
as a Grant writer, you can go to iGrantwriters.com.
It's the place to be.
Go get your free account today and
find some Grant writers over there.
Here's a quote for today.
It's coming from Winston Churchill.
He says success is walking from
failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.
I love that quote because sometimes when you have
some failures, it makes you want to give up.
But you can't give up.
You've got to keep on going, and you got
to have some persistencies and some determination, some action.
You got to pull some gusto out of yourself. Okay?
And keep moving forward.
And that's how you win.
Now let me share with you these
points for becoming a Grant consultant.
First thing I want encourage you to do is
you got to learn what is a Grant consultant? Okay?
I'll tell you, in a nutshell, a Grant consultant
is someone who consults and helps organizations to learn
more about Grants or helps them with their strategies
to do a more effective job.
Oftentimes of getting Grants.
So you want to dig deeper into what is a
consultant, because you don't have to simply write a proposal.
Everybody thinks Grant writing, Grant writing.
Grant writing is just Grant writing.
Yes, it's Grant writing, but you
can do something completely different.
And that is to consumpt, to advise, to give them
strategies, to give them better ways of doing it.
You can do that.
Secondly, the second thing I want to encourage you,
if you think about this, you can explore the
different types of services that you can offer.
There's so many different ways you can go about this.
There's no one way, my friend, you can
advise and give them consulting in terms of
what are the funding opportunities that are available.
You could specialize just in that and
be constantly rewarded because sometimes they don't
know where the opportunities exist.
That's consulting. Okay.
There may be ways of making their processes
more efficient, and you specialize in that.
I'm not going to go on to great detail here.
I don't even have time.
But the third thing you can do, my
friend, is to determine the market that you
want to serve as a Grant consultant, whatever
that market is identified and serve that market.
What I'm literally saying is pick a niche that
needs your service and develop a game plan of
action that you can service those companies.
If you'll do that, my friend, that will allow
you to transition and become a Grant consultant.
And it's a wonderful field, and that's
part of what I do right now.
I love it.
And some of you may want to do more of it.
I'm going to encourage you to go do it. Okay.
Now, some of you are not even in a Grant game
right now, but you want to get in the Grant game.
Here's one way that you can break into the field.
I'll tell you about it right now.
You, my friend, can become an intern.
In fact, go over to grantwritinginternship.com.
There is a 30-minute video that you can watch
right on the spot that will tell you about what
it takes to become an intern and how to use
that to propel yourself into this whole industry. Okay.
Now, some of you already have businesses.
I want to encourage you to
go over to 6figuregrantbusiness.com.
Yes, 6figuregrantbusiness.com.
If you go over there today, I got a training.
You should come and hang out with me
because I'm going to help you win.
Man, I'm getting excited about here.
I'm about to lose my hair.
I've already lost it. You're right. Okay.
Anyway, I want you to come and hang out with me today.
We're going to have a great time.
And if you do, you're going to learn some things
that's going to help you to grow your business so
that it will become a six figure Grant business.
I look forward to seeing you
there, hanging out with you.
And again, until next time, my
friend, I want to encourage you.
On our next show, we're going to
be talking about moving from becoming a
Grant writer to becoming a consultant.
How do you move from Grant writer to consultant?
And until we meet and talk again,
my friend, I want you to be brave.
I want you to be bold.
I want you to be brilliant.
Take charge. Grant nation,
I'm out of here.
