I'm going to share some winning advice with you. In fact,
I'm going to be sharing some information with you that
I believe if you'll take it and run with it.

I needed that.
And we all need a little encouragement.
We all need someone helping us to
get to where we're trying to go.
And I hope that this show is
some of that for you, my friend.
On today's show, I'm going to be
sharing with you that IQ boost.
And today's IQ boost is coming
from one of my favorites.
Also, I'm going to be sharing with you some information to
help you to do a better job with your clients.
Are you a grant professional that has some
clients, or are you an aspiring grant professional
that's looking to get some clients?
Well, today's information is going to help
you to deal with them better.
And I'm going to be sharing with you some ways.
In fact, I'm going to be sharing with
you three ways that you can add greater
value to your clients as a grant writer.
Isn't that great?
Yes, it is.
We want to give them our absolute best.
And I'm going to share with you one thing that
you don't know about me that may surprise you.
Can you guess what it is?
Wrong!
That's not the right guess. Okay. Don't try to guess.
Just stop
Let me share with you.
I don't want you going off on the deep end, so
I'm going to share with you one thing that has been
a tremendous help to me that may surprise you.
It's a habit that I have of
something that I do every single day.
You're still guessing. Stop that.
Yes, I have a habit that I like to do
every single day, and it is a wonderful habit.
This habit is a habit that helps
to keep me on the right track.
Do you have some good habits?
I hope you do, my friend.
This habit is that I have a habit
of saying and quoting the self confidence formula.
And it's a formula that I got of the book,
one of my favorite books, The Law of Success.
I told you about that.
Now that self confidence formula is about two minutes
and 37 odd seconds just to read it.
And if you don't have it, I want
to encourage you to go check it out.
But it goes something like this.
I'm not going to do it all.
I'm just going to tell you I'm not going to do it
all because it's going to take two minutes and 30 seconds.
I got some other things to share with
you, but I'll give you the first part
the first part is self confidence form.
But first, I know that I have the ability
to achieve the object of my definite purpose.
Therefore, I demand of myself persistent,
aggressive and continuous action towards its attainment.
Second, I'm not going to go to the second one.
Maybe I'll share with you some other time, but
that's something I use and it's my statement that
helps me to get my head on straight and
to remind me of what I'm about.
It's like an affirmation almost, but it's a formula.
And I believe if you will
follow the formula, the formula works. Okay.
That's just something you don't know about me
that I want to share with you, that
hopefully it adds some value to your life.
Now let's go on and get ready to move on and take
a look at some of the wonderful things that we have for
you that I believe can help you with your life.
Because again, we want to get the good habits in.
We want to remove the bad habits because
it's those bad habits that cripple us.
And I don't want you to be crippled
around here as it relates to being successful.
I want to see you being the most
successful grant professional or would be grant professional.
If you're on the road to becoming a
grand professional, I want to see you being
the most successful one that you possibly can.
Many of you are doing so good
with the work that you're doing.
You're helping nonprofits.
You're helping governmental agencies to secure funds.
And I want you to know that
you have somebody cheering for you. That would be me.
I'm cheering for you because I want to see
you be so successful in all that you do.
In fact, why don't you give yourselves

Because you are worth it.
Yes, you are worth it, my friend.

Always write this down, always do
more than you're paid for.
This is an investment into your own future.

But invest because when you do it, my friend, those seeds
will come back and there will be a great harvest for
you in that you saw into your own future.
Take time daily to think of five to ten things that
you can do to help your clients each day and write
these ideas down, maybe in a Journal or something.
Now, you're not going to do
everything that you write down.
But here's the thing.
Some of those ideas may help that client.
And when you share that idea with them and you
go back to them consistently with different ideas, they're like,
man, this person is more than just a grant writer.
They're a grant professional.
But really, they are the countless for different
ideas to help us to get funded. They will love you.
Third, listen, I read third, I want you
to periodically ask your clients the magic question.
Here's the magic question.
So how else can I help you?
Yes, that's the magic question.
How else can I help you after you've done and
after you deliver it and help them out all those
other ways, how else can I help you?
You're so rich and so wealthy and
your abundance of ideas and helping them.
You've got some other ways to help them, but you
just need to know because you're not a mind reader.
Ask them, how else can I help you, my friend?
If you'll take those three things, incorporate it into your
grant business, I believe things will go positive for you
and you'll be able to help even more.
